What is it? The score is based on your contact’s activity. You can view the list of activities and their corresponding scores below.
Automatic and Manual Scoring: The system automatically generates scores based on contact activity. You can also manually score by adding a star rating to your contacts.
(Automatic) Contacts earn points based on actions:
Opting in to Campaign: 10 points
Opening an Email: 1 point
Clicking on a Link: 2 points
Scheduling an Event: 5 points per event
Filling Out a Form: 5 points
Requesting a Call via "Request a Call" Button: 5 points
Rating Increase: Difference between old and new rating (e.g., moving from 2 stars to 4 stars adds 15 points)
(Automatic) Contacts earn points based on video watched (Max 25 points per video):
1 point for every 20 seconds up to 3 minutes
1 point per completed minute for 4 - 10 minutes
0.5 points per completed minute over 10 minutes
Video Scoring Examples:
Watches 2 minutes: 2 min X 3 pts/min = 6 points
Watches 8 minutes: (3 min X 3 pts) + (5 min X 1 pt) = 14 points
Watches 22 minutes: (3 min X 3 pts) + (7 min X 1 pt) + (12 min X 0.5 pt) = 22 points
(Manual) Contact earn points based on star rating:
0 Stars: 0 points
1 Star: 6 points
2 Stars: 12 points
3 Stars: 18 points
4 Stars: 24 points
5 Stars: 30 points
Contacts lose points based on the following actions:
Opt-out of Campaign: -25 points
Spam Complaint: -50 points
Rating Decrease: Difference between old and new rating (e.g., moving from 4 stars to 2 stars subtracts 15 points)
Decay Over Time: Contacts lose 1 point per day, starting 7 days after their last activity, until they reach their minimum score (based on their star rating).
Note: A contact becomes a hot contact when they earn 50 points. Learn more about Hot Contacts here.
